JohnNemt
I’m developing a stand alone application using a turbo pmac.. I’m using getfirsterror and getnexterror functions to retrieve all plc and nc alarms. The problem I’m having is that I can not figure out how to clear nc alarms without having to close the pcommsever. Is there a better way to do this? steve.milici
If the alarm is a PMAC error of some type you must first have PMAC clear the problem (as in an amplifier fault or overtravel limit). If this is a user generated alarm the code must not be constantly setting the error bit otherwise the server (PcommserverPro2) will not be able to clear it. JohnNemt
I see how to clear plc errors, but not nc errors. An example would be IF[#500EQ1]THEN#3000=5(INVALID SETTING). Also any alarms generated through the nc such as illegal format errors.
steve.milici
You will need to set the #3000 variable back to zero. The "Clear Message" button should also be able to clear this.
