Detect SD card from background app
I would like to attempt to mount an SD card in a background app.

Then detect if one has been mounted (because there may not be one) in the background app.

I then want to be able to read and write to the SD card from the background app.

Is there any example code available to do this?

We have an application note in the Forum's FileDepot:
Saving Files on Power PMAC or External Media

" PMAC/Application Notes/Saving Files on Power PMAC or External Media.pdf"
Thanks for the link.

Do you have some example code that does this from a background application?

Does the SD card auto mount on a 465?
I have found the documentation about auto mounting, so I gather that a card without the Video option will probably auto mount.
Yes - it should.
