Power PMAC - Not uploading the Firmware

Hi all!

I work in Satisloh Company and we use Power PMAC for our VFT machines. I have two brand new CPUs that is not uploading the firmware by USB or SDcard... I think could be a problem with kernel. How can I fix a kernel problem? Which version of Uimage should I use for firmware version 2.0.2.14?

Thanks a lot!

To uploading the firmware through USB or SDcard, you would need to create a folder in USB flash or SDcard as below:

Folder Name: PowerPmacFirmwareInstall

Description: Power PMAC firmware will be updated. The installation package "powerpmac.deb" file should be placed in this folder.

and you should only use file name as "powerpmac.deb"

Please inform us which CPU/form factor you are using.

Different CPU will need different firmware.

Hi JayL!

This is the procedure we do here, but we are having different behavior on each board. One of the CPU don't even blink the USB or SDcard led when they are plugged in, and the other one blink the USB led but don't finish the firmware upgrade. We use CPU EP460C, do you think could be a kernel problem?

Regards!
