gzwk2019
i have tried many times to connect power clipper to my own PC. But the IDE showed 'no device' and Ethernet showed 'unidentified network'. The D15 is amber and the D10 is green on the clipper board. and the ping 192.168.0.200 is fine. i set the My PC IP address to 192.168.0.100. I am not sure what is going on, could someone help me with this problem?

I would try disabling that and see if you can connect to the Power Clipper after that (maybe on the same network as your wireless so it is getting confused which network the IDE is trying to connect to)

tecnico
The problem is 100Mbps speed. The Ethernet card on PPMAC only negotiates on 1Gbps link. Easy solution is to use a gigabit switch
steve.milici
Power Clipper is fixed at 100Mbps. Make sure both the switch and NIC card of the PC can "auto-negotiate" to this. Try a direct connection to the PC. Check the NIC settings of the PC's Ethernet card to make sure it is properly set.
tecnico
The Power UMAC is fixed @1GBps so I assumed it was the same for the power clipper. Is this by design or by mistake?
steve.milici
This was by design. Power Clipper is a low cost OEM product with less buffering and no opto-isolation.
